Plano Super Bowl

King of the Strings Rules:

1. Please sign in when you arrive with the Host.

2. All contestants must be 21 or older.

3. Contest will run for 18 weeks, Starting Saturday, August 8th with Finals being held on Sat. December 18th. 2010
4. Sign ups start at 9pm, Contest starts at 10pm. We will draw for playing positions.

5. Contestants will use the same equipment that will be provided by Plano Super Bowl and Lonewolf Entertainment.

6. There will be no swearing or inappropriate behavior allowed on stage. Keep performance limited to family approved even though we are in a bar, you are still being judged.

7. Contestants must be present at the time of each night’s announcements of winners for the evening’s performance. If they are not, their spot will go to the runner up.

8. Contestants are only qualifying for the finals. You only have to qualify for 1st or 2nd place to be in the finals. Contestants may compete each Saturday until the finals. Finals will be held on Sat ## 2010.

9. A cash prize maybe given during the weekly qualifying rounds. This prize will be done by donations/votes slips from the crowd by way of choosing who they think is the best player that night. Payout will be 50/50 with the remainder going to the finals. You do not have to win to be the best player that night, it is crowd’s choice.
 
10. Winner of the finals will be named King of the Strings for 2010 and the equipment (Guitar and Amp) is the prize.

11. Contestants will perform the following: 1. Cover Song 2. One Original 3. Free Style

12. Judges will judge on three(3) elements. Showmanship, Song Delivery, Originality
